Employers rely on job advertisements for communicating the skill and education needs for their job openings. The format of job advertisements does not support job seekers to filter them by matched skill set creating a potential mismatch ("Communication Gap") that obscures the much talked about "Skills Gap".
Candogram partners with the Experiential Learning Collaborative of the University of Connecticut to investigate the efficiency of communication between employers and job seekers. Over the course of three semesters graduate students will conduct empirical research. Organizations with interest in this research about the Skills Gap are invited to sponsor the project and receive detailed results in return.
A first presentation is set for December 14, 2016 at the UCONN Graduate Business Learning Center in Hartford, CT. All who are interested are invited to join the presentation.
More information about the project is available on the Candogram website.
