Voter Registration, Maintaining Accurate Voter Lists & Service to Voters
Section 2 starts with an overview of the role of registrars, municipal clerks, board for the admission of electors, voter registration agencies and voting right groups in an election. A review of who may be admitted as electors in Connecticut, the types of registration applications (both State of Connecticut and Federal forms), the processing of applications and problem avoidance and resolution will also be discussed. Official voter lists, record-keeping and retention, mandated and optional voter registration sessions, registration lists and the purpose, procedure and forms for the annual canvass will also be reviewed.
